﴿الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ﴾
(Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:67)
"Close friends, on that Day, will become enemies to one another, except the righteous."
What do we learn from this verse?
- Choose friends who help you do good.
- A righteous friend is a blessing in this life and the Hereafter.
- Good friendships are based on faith, kindness, and good character.

How can we use this in everyday life?

﴿وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ﴾
(Surah Al-Kahf 18:28)
"Keep yourself patiently with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening."
What do we learn from this verse?
- Spend time with people who remember Allah and do good.
- Good friends help us become better people.
- Being with righteous people strengthens our faith and character.
﴿وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ﴾
(Surah Al-Kahf 18:28)

- Spend time with friends who are respectful and kind.
- Join friends who encourage prayer, learning, and helping others.

«المرءُ على دينِ خليله، فلينظرْ أحدُكم مَن يُخالِلُ»
"A person follows the way of his close friend, so each of you should be careful about whom you choose as a friend."
What do we learn from this hadith?
- Choose friends who are kind, honest, and respectful.
- Good friends encourage us to do the right thing.
- Stay away from friends who encourage bad behavior.
«المرءُ على دينِ خليله، فلينظرْ أحدُكم مَن يُخالِلُ»
"A person follows the way of his close friend, so each of you should be careful about whom you choose as a friend."
How can we use this in everyday life?
- Be friends with classmates who are polite and helpful.
- Say no if a friend asks you to do something wrong.
- Encourage your friends to be kind, tell the truth, and help others.
«مثلُ الجليسِ الصالحِ والجليسِ السوءِ كحاملِ المسكِ ونافخِ الكيرِ»
(Agreed upon – Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
"The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like the seller of perfume and the blacksmith's bellows."
Meaning:
"A good friend brings you goodness, while a bad friend can lead you to harm."
What do we learn from this hadith?

- A bad friend can encourage us to make wrong choices.
- We should choose friends with good manners and good character.
